1969 Cadillac
Three-Way Landau Hearse

Still an impressive coach...even after 37 years!  Finished in dark blue metallic with a black crinkle roof and black interior.  This stately coach has only had three owners since new.  According to the Miller-Meteor ID plate, the body was originally black.  The body is now in need of some restoration, as some of the previous repair areas are cracking.  Please see the detail photos below.  The car runs and drives extremely well and has traveled only 49,000 actual miles.  However, it is just out of long term storage and should probably be inspected, tuned-up, etc.

The A.J. Miller Company and Meteor Motor Car Company were originally separate entities, joining together in 1957.  They are now part of the Accubuilt Corporation, of Lima, Ohio, which also builds Sayers and Scovill (S&S), Superior and Eureka hearses and limousines.

You Can't Take It With You...

Recently, Grand Rapids based Zondervan Publishing Company, used one of our hearses for a very special project.  They heaped-up some of life's prized possessions on the roof, to help introduce a new book by John Ortberg, entitled "When The Game Is Over, It All Goes Back In The Box."  The book tells of life lessons taught by the author's Grandmother, while playing board games.  John uses popular culture, a sense of humor and a gift for compelling storytelling to help us live more meaningful lives.  Additional information about his new book can be found at johnortberg.com
